Our Process
Our Sani-Sport Process employs three seperate patents to not only eliminate bacteria, mold, yeast, and odor from protective equipment, but also to coat it with a natural substance to impede the reformation of the bacteria, mold, ect.
Our machines use four high-intensity UV lights to convert oxygen into ozone. The ozone is then circulated throughout the equipment by two complimenting fans, killing 96% of the bacteria. A patented Ecomist solution, containing natural Tea Tree Oil, is then fogged deep into the equipment to attack the remaining bacteria. The final step is to seal the process with a scented bactericide creating a protective shield on the equipment.
Ozone (O3) is a gas that is essentially an oxygen molecule(O2) that has been energized and has an extra oxygen atom attached to it. In nature, this occurs high in the atmosphere when ultraviolet energy from the sun converts oxygen to ozone. Ozone ia also created closer to earth when sunlight passes through smog. This is a good thing, as Ozone, often referred to as a natural cleaner, will help break down pollutants. Energy from lightening and waterfalls also results in the creation of Ozone. The fresh, clean smell you experience after a thunderstorm is actually the smell of Ozone that has been generated by the lightening. Ozone is relatively unstable and will naturally revert back to oxygen, leaving no residues. It is the lack of residue, combined with its ability to disinfect and eliminate odors that makes Ozone attractive for many applications.
